Free School Meals
The Pupil Premium Grant is funding allocated to children from low-income families who are currently known to be eligible for Free School Meals in both mainstream and non-mainstream settings and children who have been looked after continuously for more than six months. The purpose of the Pupil Premium is to help support those students from low income families to ensure that they make progress at an equal rate to their peers.
Is my child entitled to Free School Meals?
Your child may be able to get free school meals if you get any of the following:

-
Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
-
Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

Children who get paid these benefits directly, instead of through a parent or guardian, can also get free school meals.
Your child may also get free school meals if you get any of these benefits and your child is both:

-
in full-time education
Who can I speak to if I want to know more?
In the first instance speak to the Assistant Head of Year for your child. They will be able to advise you about how to seek support within the school. Also, if you feel that there are additional ways that your child could be supported by accessing the premium then please contact them or Mr Pulford, Deputy Headteacher.
